NORTH SHROPSHIRE CHRONICLE AND THE WHICHURCH HERALD:

Both of these papers are weekly newspapers, in which are handed out to both very different audiences. The north shropshire chronicle has a wider audience due to the fact that it is made by the same company as the shropshire star, although it has a wider audience than the whichurch herald newspaper which has very niche audience the north shropshire chronicle is still like the whichurch herald, a local newspaper. Both of which these newspapers have an e-version of their paper, which means that they have a wider way of reading, therefore reaching to more generations.

radio and Broadcasts must be un-bias and balanced, this is due to the way that there are more people that would trust the radio and news broadcasts due to them hearing and seeing everything on the news for themselves rather then a newspapers spin off of the story

Print must be accurate due to the way that they are bias to their own political view.

PCC - Press Complaints Commission - Self regulatory
Contempt of court - legal - damaging court cases by releasing too much information while the case is still unsolved, should be only the age, gender crime and area publicized and no names. The names can only be released if the case has been solved. This also covers the fact that there is no cameras allowed within a court room. The Press Complaints Commission (PCC) is a voluntary regulatory body for British printed newspapers and magazines, consisting of representatives of the major publishers. The PCC is funded by the annual levy it charges newspapers and magazines. It has no legal powers – all newspapers and magazines voluntarily contribute to the costs of, and adhere to the rulings of, the Commission, making the industry self-regulating. The PCC received extensive criticism for its lack of action in the News of the World phone hacking affair, including from MPs and Prime Minister David Cameron, who called for it to be replaced with a new system in July 2011.

Defamation
Defamation is the law against journalists making judgements about people that are within the public eye. This is to prevent peoples reputation from being destroyed.
